Maths is an Open Award qualification and can be taught up to a level2. Maths is embedded throughout the curriculum and can be seen intwined within Construction and Mechanic’s to name a few. Maths is one exam at the end of year 11 and content is taught through out the year in the classroom and from their personalised BKSB online profile. Levels are assessed upon arrival and progress checks are done frequently each term to ensure maximum understanding and progress is made. The Maths team woks closely with the SEN team to ensure all individual needs are met and best practice is shared.
